Odoo Developer
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Develop and customize Odoo modules to meet specific business needs, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications for Odoo applications. Implement data migration strategies to ensure smooth transitions between systems while preserving data integrity. Conduct thorough testing of Odoo applications, identifying and resolving bugs or issues to maintain high-quality standards. Provide ongoing technical support and training to end-users to enhance their understanding and effective use of Odoo. Create and maintain detailed documentation for custom modules and integrations, facilitating knowledge transfer within the team. Optimize Odoo performance through code review and implementing best practices in development and deployment. Stay updated on the latest Odoo releases and features, actively participating in community forums to share insights and solutions. Assist in the deployment of Odoo in cloud environments, configuring instances to match organizational requirements. Participate in agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to improve team efficiency. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, ensuring a solid foundational knowledge in programming and systems analysis. At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Odoo development and customization, showcasing a track record of successful project implementations. Proven expertise in Python programming and PostgreSQL database management, essential for effective Odoo module development. Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, enabling comprehensive development of user interfaces. Experience with version control systems like Git, highlighting the importance of collaborative coding practices. Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail, ensuring high-quality deliverables and timely project completion. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, facilitating effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. Certifications in Odoo development or related platforms, demonstrating commitment to professional growth and industry standards. A proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies, ensuring the ability to leverage emerging trends in Odoo development.
