For more information, visit www.gf.com Key Responsibilities * Perform detailed measurements of integrated photonic devices, circuits and subsystems * Develop, build, and operate customized optical measurement setups * Develop scripts for photonic circuit initialization, control, and automated data acquisition * Work closely with design team to enable comprehensive performance evaluation and root-cause analysis * Coordinate with offsite measurement partners and external suppliers as needed * Contribute to continuous improvement of characterization techniques and measurement methodologies Desired Candidate Profile BSc, or MSc in Electronics and Communication Engineering or a relevant discipline with focus on Silicon Photonics or Integrated Optics 1+ years of relevant industrial experience Strong fundamentals in physics, electromagnetics, and integrated optics Hands-on experience in characterization and measurement of integrated photonic circuits Programming and data analysis skills using MATLAB, LabVIEW, and/or Python Solid understanding of silicon photonics fabrication, packaging and testing methods Experience with high-speed photonic device characterization is a strong Company Industry Power GenerationPower DistributionEnergyNuclear Energy Department / Functional Area Engineering Keywords Engineer Silicon Photonics Characterization Get real-time job updates only on our App
