Project Director - Civil

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Spearhead the overall strategic direction and execution of large-scale civil projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations. Provide decisive leadership and oversight throughout the project lifecycle, from initial planning and design to construction, commissioning, and handover. Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary project team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment to achieve project objectives. Oversee the development and management of project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, including technical, financial, and contractual issues, to minimize potential disruptions. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Ensure strict adherence to quality control standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations throughout all project phases. Review and approve project deliverables, including technical drawings, specifications, and progress reports, to ensure accuracy and compliance. Drive innovation and continuous improvement within project management processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the organization. Desired Candidate Profile Demonstrate 20+ years of progressive experience in civil construction, with a significant portion in a leadership capacity. Possess extensive experience in the construction of projects, such as villas, shopping malls, high rise towers, hospitals and commercial / residential buildings Exhibit a strong understanding of local and international building codes, regulations, and industry best practices. Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and influencing stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrate a proactive and results-oriented approach, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Exhibit the ability to make critical decisions under pressure, managing complex situations and ensuring project success.
