QHSE Officer
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the organization’s Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) management systems, policies, procedures, and standards. Ensure compliance with applicable QHSE regulations, legal requirements, company policies, and industry best practices. Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, hazard identification, and recommend effective corrective and preventive actions. Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO management systems including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. Conduct internal audits, prepare audit reports, follow up on non-conformities, and ensure timely closure of corrective actions. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, identify root causes, and implement improvement actions to prevent recurrence. Monitor workplace activities to ensure employees, contractors, and vendors comply with approved QHSE standards and safe working practices. Develop and deliver QHSE awareness sessions, toolbox talks, and employee training programs. Ensure emergency response procedures, fire drills, inspections, and safety checks are effectively implemented and recorded. Maintain QHSE documentation, records, statistics, and prepare periodic performance reports for management review. Promote a positive safety culture and support continuous improvement initiatives across all business operations. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or a related field. Minimum 5+ years of relevant QHSE/HSE experience, preferably within automotive, manufacturing, facilities management, engineering, logistics, or industrial operations. NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is required. ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification is preferred. Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems. Strong experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, audits, inspections, and corrective action management. Good knowledge of UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations. Ability to prepare reports, analyze QHSE data, and communicate improvement recommendations. Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. UAE experience is preferred.
