Design Engineer -Steel Structure / Sheet Metal

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Perform structural analysis and design of steel structures. Design and verify steel members and connections in accordance with project requirements and applicable codes. Prepare detailed design calculations and technical reports. Coordinate with drafting, fabrication, and site teams. Review shop drawings and resolve technical queries. Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and industry best practices. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in steel structure design. Strong experience in steel member design and steel–concrete & steel–steel connection design. Experience in industrial, commercial, and building steel structures. Good knowledge of AISC, BS, and Eurocode standards. Proficient in ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, RAM Connection, and IDEA StatiCa Ability to prepare design calculations, reports, and review fabrication drawings. Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills. Experience in high-rise and complex steel structures. Knowledge of BIM and 3D modeling software is an advantage.
