Job Description Roles & Responsibilities ADAS Function Design and Modeling: Functional Requirements Definition: Structure and write functional and safety specifications (ISO 26262) for ADAS systems (e.g., SALC, LPA). Collaborate with the system and architecture teams to align technical requirements. MATLAB/Simulink-Based Modeling: Design functional models from the specifications, respecting modeling rules (e.g., MISRA, AUTOSAR). Use tools such as Design Verifier and MCDC to validate requirements coverage and generate embeddable C code. Validation and Testing: MIL (Model-In-the-Loop) Validation: Test ADAS functions in simulated environments (e.g., CarMaker) to evaluate performance and robustness. Automate tests via MATLAB/Python scripts. Driving Data Analysis: Utilize tools such as CANalyzer, vSignalyzer, or MATLAB scripts to analyze vehicle logs (MF4/ASC/MAT files). Identify and correct anomalies reported via platforms like JIRA. Calibration and Integration: Functional Parameter Calibration: Optimize ADAS algorithm parameters (e.g., detection thresholds, reaction time) to meet defined KPIs. Integration on MIL/HIL/SIL Platforms: Integrate allocable functions (FAs) on test platforms (e.g., MIL) and deliver validated versions to GitHub. Verify model conformity for ECU (Electronic Control Unit) integration. Collaboration and Technical Support: Working in a multidisciplinary team: Participate in functional architecture reviews and technical workshops with internal/external stakeholders. Provide technical support to software development and validation teams. Anomaly Management: Diagnose technical problems (e.g., ADAS malfunctions) and propose corrective solutions. Follow JIRA workflows for handling MIL/HIL/SIL issues. Tool Development and Automation: Creation of analysis applications: Develop MATLAB tools to automate data analysis and the generation of KPI reports. Contribute to the improvement of testing and validation processes. Desired Candidate Profile Holds a degree in Electronic Engineering, Embedded Systems, or Systems Engineering, with a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience. A very good level of English is required. Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink (including Model Advisor, Design Verifier) Experience with Git/GitHub for configuration management Proficiency in CANOE/CANalyzer for CAN network simulation and analysis Good command of C language for embedded development Knowledge of UDS and OBD protocols (strong asset) Knowledge of ISO 26262 (automotive functional safety) Understanding of AUTOSAR (automotive software architecture) Application of MISRA C guidelines for embedded code Strong understanding of automotive systems and communication protocols (CAN, LIN, etc.) Proven experience in Model-Based Design and embedded software development Teamwork abilities Strong analytical mindset Attention to detail and adherence to standards Company Industry AutomotiveAutomobileAuto Accessories Department / Functional Area Engineering Keywords Technical Functional Designer - ADAS Get real-time job updates only on our App
