Estimation Engineer Joinery / Fitout

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs for joinery and fit-out work. · Review project drawings and specifications to identify materials, quantities, and cost implications. · Prepare and submit tenders, quotations, and variation claims. · Evaluate subcontractor quotations and negotiate contracts. · Monitor project costs and progress to ensure budget control. · Monitor market rates and maintain a cost database. · Prepare progress valuations, interim applications, and final accounts. · Coordinate closely with the design, production, and project teams for cost and material control. · Maintain accurate records and cost reports for ongoing projects. · Conduct site visits for quantity verification and progress assessments. · Support project handover by providing estimation details to the execution team. · Coordinate material submittals, technical data sheets, samples, and approval processes with clients, consultants, suppliers, and project teams. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in estimation, specifically within the joinery and fitout sectors of the construction industry. Proficiency in using estimation software (e.g., CostX, Planswift, AutoCAD) and MS Office Suite. Strong understanding of joinery techniques, materials, and fitout processes.
