Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Architecte Image Factory / AMI Factory (H/F) Job Description We are looking for an experienced Image Factory Architect to design and lead an Image Factory platform for automating the creation, securing, standardizing and publishing of operating system images for enterprise cloud platforms. This role consists of setting up a scalable and secure Image Factory architecture enabling the creation of images, their security hardening, their lifecycle management and their multi-cloud deployment in environments such as AWS and Azure. The architect will collaborate with the Platform Engineering, DevOps, Security and Infrastructure teams to provide standardized and secure base images that accelerate application deployments while meeting the company's security and compliance requirements. Architecture and strategy of the Image Factory Design and implement an Image Factory architecture that automates the creation, validation and distribution of reference images (Golden Images). To define company standards for: the basic images, hardened images, The images are ready for applications. Develop a scalable image strategy across multiple cloud platforms and tools such as: AWS AMI, Azure Compute Gallery, container registries, other image references. Design an image governance model covering: versioning, lifecycle management, image promotion pipelines. Monitor the performance, usage, and adoption of image pipelines across all cloud platforms. Development of automation pipelines and CI/CD Design and implement automated pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins or other CI/CD tools. Integrate Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices with: Packer, Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent tools. Automate image testing, validation and security checks during pipeline execution. Optimize image construction processes in terms of performance, cost and reliability. Set up automatic image publishing to enterprise repositories and cloud galleries. Security and compliance Integrate security controls into image creation processes. Ensure compliance with CIS standards, company security policies and other regulatory requirements. Implement vulnerability scanning tools such as: Tenable, Qualys, or similar solutions. Ensure that the images meet security requirements before being put into production. Define the governance mechanisms to apply image standards and security policies. Desired Candidate Profile Qualifications 7 years or more of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps or systems engineering. University degree in computer science (BAC+5) or related field. Practical experience in the design and management of enterprise image pipelines or Golden Images frameworks. Experience in large-scale, multi-region cloud environments. Fluent English Technical skills Advanced expertise in: Packer, Terraform, AWS, Azure. Strong skills in: CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins. In-depth knowledge: Linux, Windows, system security. Experience with vulnerability management and compliance tools. Soft Skills Strong capacity for system architecture and design. Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills. Ability to supervise engineers and lead platform initiatives. Analytical mind, autonomy and results orientation.
