To fully leverage its data and support its strategic ambitions, the group is creating a new DATA and FLUX Directorate, reporting to the CIO. Join us within this dynamic team and drive the applications at the heart of the SUEZ SI exchange platform. YOUR MISSION To achieve Suez's strategic objective of transforming its data into a real asset, SUEZ is reorganizing its services by creating a DATA and FLUX Directorate reporting to the Group CIO. Within this new directorate, the Data Engineer for the Water domain will be responsible for the Data infrastructure serving BI projects for the water business lines within Suez, in compliance with the expected service and security level. He/She is also responsible for the operational maintenance of the existing Data Platform and its evolution. Is in charge of the implementation, run, and evolution of the Data platform: Integrates new data flows Ensures the smooth running of data integration batches Ensures the integrity and performance of the Data platform Keeps the Data platform up to date by updating its components and evolving it in line with the latest technological advances To be effective, the Data Engineer must have transverse knowledge of the data flows transiting through the data platform Collaborates with Data Analysts / Scientists to ensure the proper use of data exposed via the Data platform Manages data provisioning and access rights Ensures interactions between data consumers and the data platform for rationalization and performance purposes Proposes technical improvements (indexing, datamart, pre-calculation of KPIs) Participates in continuous data quality improvement efforts. Ensures level 3 support for data freshness, integrity, and availability Is the technical referent for the Data foundation Interacts with the data governance department of the directorate to align data models with the business lines' data strategy Works in close collaboration with data managers in the BUs responsible for the definition and quality of the supported data objects Participates in the data quality roadmap launched by the data managers Desired Candidate Profile YOUR PROFILE Training: Bac +5 in information systems & big data or equivalent Experience: 3-5 years of experience is required for this position Skills: Mastery of SQL databases (SQL Server, BigQuery, PostGreSQL) Mastery of programming languages (SQL, Python, C++, Java) Mastery of DevOps tools/practices (CI/CD chain, AzureDevOps, Git) Mastery of cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) Mastery of analysis and reporting tools would be a plus Mastery of data governance and data management fundamentals Mastery of the Power BI data visualization tool Cross-functional piloting and coordination Animation of meetings/monitoring committees Technical skills in Business Intelligence Professional English Agile, innovative, and collaborative mindset Analytical and synthesis skills Teamwork skills Listening and openness to non-familiar functions Company Industry Engineering Design & Consulting Department / Functional Area IT Software Keywords Data Engineer Water Domain Get real-time job updates only on our App
