NOC Engineer- KSA

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented NOC Engineer to join our Network Operations Center team. The ideal candidate will have a strong IT background and 1–3 years of experience in network, systems, or infrastructure support. The NOC Engineer will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network and IT services to ensure maximum availability and performance. Key Responsibilities Monitor network, server, and application performance using monitoring tools. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents affecting IT infrastructure and services. Perform first-level and second-level support for network and system-related issues. Escalate critical incidents to appropriate technical teams and vendors when necessary. Respond to alerts, outages, and service disruptions in accordance with defined SLAs. Maintain incident tickets and provide accurate updates throughout the resolution process. Execute routine operational tasks, health checks, and preventive maintenance activities. Monitor backups, system logs, and security alerts to ensure operational continuity. Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and post-incident reviews. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports. Ensure compliance with operational procedures and documentation standards. Support change management activities and planned maintenance windows. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in NOC, IT Operations, Network Support, System Administration, or a similar role. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing/switching concepts. Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems. Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix, ManageEngine, or similar platforms. Basic knowledge of cloud platforms and virtualization technologies is an advantage. Understanding of ITIL processes, incident management, and service operations. Preferred Skills Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a 24/7 operational environment. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple incidents simultaneously. Team-oriented mindset with a customer-focused approach. Desired Candidate Profile Certifications (Preferred) Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) CompTIA Network+ ITIL Foundation Microsoft or Linux certifications Working Conditions Rotational 24/7 shift schedule. On-call support may be required based on operational needs.
