Governance, Risk, and Compliance Analyst

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities About the Role: We are seeking a Governance, Risk, and Compliance Analyst to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will support the design and implementation of risk management frameworks, compliance programs, internal audit procedures, and data privacy initiatives using industry-leading GRC tools. Responsibilities: Collaborate on risk identification, assessment, and mitigation activities Configure and maintain GRC platforms and tools Conduct internal audits to evaluate control effectiveness Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies Support development and maintenance of data privacy policies in line with relevant legislation Prepare and present risk and compliance reports to stakeholders Provide training and advisory support to business units on GRC-related topics Assist in remediating control deficiencies and tracking remediation plans Stay current with regulatory changes and best practices in governance, risk, and compliance Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Security, Business Administration, or related field 2–4 years of hands-on experience in governance, risk, and compliance Proficiency with GRC tools (e.g., RSA Archer, MetricStream, ServiceNow GRC) Strong knowledge of risk management methodologies and frameworks Demonstrated understanding of compliance requirements and regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX, AML, FCPA) Experience conducting internal audits and evaluating control environments Working knowledge of data privacy concepts and regulations Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications: Professional certification such as CRISC, CISA, or CIPP Experience in the financial services or consulting sectors Familiarity with ISO 27001, COBIT, or NIST frameworks Exposure to enterprise risk management (ERM) processes Basic data analytics skills or familiarity with SQL or BI tools Knowledge of UAE-specific regulatory environment Company Industry Other Department / Functional Area Other Keywords GovernanceRiskAnd Compliance Analyst Get real-time job updates only on our App
