Sales Director
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities The Sales Director will lead the commercial strategy and execution for the armored vehicle division, driving revenue growth across regional and international markets. The role requires strong leadership of the Business Development team, active client engagement, and frequent travel to develop and maintain high-value government, military, and private-sector relationships. Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Growth Develop and execute the overall sales strategy for armored vehicles (military, security, VIP transport, cash-in-transit, etc.) Identify and penetrate new markets across GCC, Africa, Asia, and other target regions Set annual sales targets, forecasts, and regional growth plans Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies Leadership & Team Management Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) Define KPIs, monitor performance, and ensure achievement of targets Build a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability and results Support BDMs in key negotiations and strategic accounts Client Acquisition & Relationship Management Build and maintain relationships with government entities, defense procurement agencies, security companies, and private VIP clients Lead high-value negotiations and contract closures Attend international exhibitions, defense expos, and industry events Ensure long-term client satisfaction and repeat business Travel & Representation Travel frequently (regional and international) for client meetings, tenders, exhibitions, and strategic partnerships Represent the company at defense and automotive security trade shows Tendering & Contracts Oversee preparation of bids, proposals, and tender submissions Coordinate with engineering, production, and compliance teams to meet client specifications Ensure compliance with export regulations and defense-related requirements Coordination & Reporting Work closely with production, engineering, finance, and logistics teams to ensure order fulfillment Provide regular sales reports and market intelligence to senior leadership Support pricing strategy and margin optimization Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred) 8–15+ years of experience in automotive, defense, security, or armored vehicle sales Proven track record of closing high-value B2G and B2B contracts Strong leadership experience managing sales or BDM teams Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills at senior/government level Willingness to travel extensively Strong understanding of defense procurement cycles is an advantage Key Skills Strategic Sales Leadership Government & Defense Sales Expertise Team Management (BDMs) International Market Development Contract Negotiation & Tendering Communication & Stakeholder Management Employment Type Full Time Company Industry MetalsSteelIronAluminiumFabrication Department / Functional Area SalesBusiness Development Keywords Business Development DirectorChief Sales OfficerDirector Of Sales & Marketing Get real-time job updates only on our App
