Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Role Purpose To develop and administrate data and analytics products, dashboard and reports while incubating analytics best practice across the organization units in order to deliver on SANS strategic objectives and aspirations within set KPI s, agreed budgets and adopted policies and procedures Desired Candidate Profile Minimum or no prior experience is required. Proficiency in writing SQL and T-SQL for development and query purposes. Experience using reporting solutions established on EDW or Data lakes or distributed systems based back-end solutions. Proficient English based business communication and presentation Skills is a must Experience using data hosted on SQL and NoSQL bases solutions, including Postgres, Cassandra, MongoDB and ArangoDB. Proficiency in development on Power BI platform, including solid experience in DAX based query and measures development. Hands-on experience on power BI premium capacity-based deployment management Development of reporting solutions on Microsoft cloud and on-prem reporting stack, in addition to experience in performance tuning & optimizing complex queries; includes, Microsoft reporting server (SSRS), Microsoft integration SSIS, Tabular editor, ALM toolkits, Visual studio Power BI development stack, Power BI premium Data Flows, Power query and M language scripting. Extensive experience on tabular Semantics and measures development and maintenance on SSAS Tabular/MDX and AAS. Experience in Power Automate and Power Apps based reporting and BI and reporting solution development. Proficiency in Excel based development and analysis, in particular modeling, Pivot reports, development of cubes and ingestion/transformation queries. Excel online JS scripting is a plus. Hands-on experience on Spark, Python or Kafka for queries, wrangling and transformation is a plus. Having experience on working with AWS, Google, Oracle BI and reporting stack is a plus Tableau development and Tableau reporting server management is a plus. Diverse practical background on various BI solutions is encouraged (TIBCO, Qlik, Looker, Magento etc.) Experience in Oracle OBI EE development and platform management is a plus. Hands-on experience on custom visuals developing on Power BI using React, D3.js or JS is a plus especially for 2D/3D spatial and geo mapping. Experience in DevOps CICD, version controlling, Git, observability and telemetry leading practices and tooling. Previous experience working with IT or management consultancy firms is preferred. Bachelor s Degree in Computer engineering, Industrial management, general engineering, statistics, mathematics, data science, operational research or equivalent is required.
