IP & Security Sr. Solution Architect
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are seeking an experienced professional to plan, design, and optimise IP and security services and solutions across multiple technologies and vendors. This role focuses on translating business and customer requirements into robust technical designs while collaborating with stakeholders across technology and business domains. The individual will lead virtual teams to deliver innovative, scalable, and reliable network solutions and ensure smooth transition into operations. What you ll do Lead technical assessment, planning, and design of IP and security solutions aligned with architecture and strategy Capture and analyse business and customer requirements to ensure technical feasibility Act as the primary technical representative for stakeholders, including customers and internal teams Lead and coordinate virtual cross-functional teams throughout design and implementation Produce low-level designs and maintain comprehensive solution documentation Support operations teams in resolving highly complex IP and security issues Ensure quality assurance during delivery and support handover to operations teams Who you are Experience in IP and security planning and design within telecom or service provider environments (typically 6 8 years) Strong understanding of mobile and/or fixed network technologies and service lifecycle Proven experience in presales support, including solution design and proposal development Demonstrated ability to design and deliver solutions in telecom environments Ability to align technical solutions with strategic business objectives Bachelor s degree in Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of IP backbone protocols (e.g., BGP, MPLS, OSPF, QoS) Understanding of security platforms and concepts (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, IPSec, WAF, NAT) Experience with vendor technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or Palo Alto Knowledge of SDN, NFV, cloud platforms (e.g., OpenStack, VMware), and virtualisation Familiarity with automation or programming languages (e.g., Python, Ansible) Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, JNCIE) are advantageous Not a perfect fit?
