Application Support Engineer (Java)

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Hands on experience on Core Java and Java EE technologies, such as JDBC, JMS, JNDI Good understanding and hands on knowledge of IBM WebSphere administration & deployment concepts. Should be aware of AWS cloud components and its deployment framework through CI/CD pipeline. Experience in log analysis & application troubleshooting. Experience on UNIX & Linux operating systems with knowledge of basic shell scripting. Knowledge of RDBMS databases (Oracle) with experience in writing SQL queries and scripts. Good understanding of MQ and its operation Basic knowledge of Infrastructure components, such as Firewall, Load balancer, Kong, Routes etc. Should be able to trouble shoot production issues from application codes independently with minimal supervision. Analyze the production issues from Monitoring tools like AppDynamics, ELK. Prior experience in application support will be an added advantage. Resource should be flexible to work on shifts. Must have good verbal /written communication skills. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, demonstrating a strong theoretical foundation. Proven experience (3+ years) in supporting and troubleshooting enterprise-level Java applications in a production environment. Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks, with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
