Senior Odoo Developer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Lead the development and customization of Odoo ERP modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices. Design and implement new Odoo features, focusing on efficient code and scalable solutions. Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of quality and knowledge sharing. Troubleshoot complex Odoo issues, providing timely and effective resolutions to minimize downtime. Develop and maintain REST API integrations with external systems and third-party services. Implement business workflows, approval processes, and automation logic. Support deployment activities, system upgrades, and environment configurations. Ensure proper documentation of all technical developments and changes. Participate in testing cycles to ensure system stability and performance. Provide ongoing technical support and contribute to continuous improvement Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Odoo development (Odoo v14 and above). Strong proficiency in Python, Odoo ORM, XML, and QWeb. Experience with PostgreSQL and performance optimization. Hands-on experience with Git/GitLab and CI/CD workflows. Solid understanding of REST API development and integrations. Familiarity with Linux environments and Docker. Good understanding of Odoo security (access rights, record rules). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications Odoo Certified Developer (any version). Experience in large-scale ERP implementations. Familiarity with Saudi localization (ZATCA, GOSI, MOL). Experience in government or semi-government projects is a plus. Strong communication skills in Arabic and English.
