Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Job Title: IT Support Service Specialist (IT Generalist) Location: Dubai, UAE Salary: AED 7,000 Employment Type: Full-time Reporting To: Senior IT / IT Manager Driving License: Recommended (frequent travel between locations) Benefits: Accommodation: Provided or allowance Ticket Allowance: Annual (self only) Health & Life Insurance: Self only Role Purpose To deliver end-to-end IT support across the multiple offices, villas, and residential locations of a high-net-worth individual, ensuring stable, secure, and efficient operation of all technology systems. The role supports uninterrupted business operations through hands-on technical support, infrastructure management, vendor coordination, and responsive on-site and remote user support. Key Responsibilities IT Support & End-User Services Act as the primary point of contact for all IT-related issues across offices, villas, and residences. Provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, printers, TVs, and smart TVs. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner. Support user onboarding, including device setup, email configuration, and access provisioning. Networking & Infrastructure Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, VPNs, and firewalls. Manage network connectivity, DNS, and domain configurations. Support full network setup for new or renovated offices and residential locations. Servers & Virtualization Support physical and virtual server environments. Configure and manage virtual machines using Hyper-V. Coordinate server-related tasks with senior IT staff as required. Email, Collaboration & Productivity Tools Manage and support email platforms including Microsoft 365 / Exchange, Google Workspace, and third-party providers. Administer multiple email domains and user accounts. Configure and troubleshoot email on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. Provide support for Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams). Web Hosting & Website Support Manage web hosting environments and DNS records. Perform basic website troubleshooting and content updates. Apply basic HTML for minor changes. Coordinate with hosting providers and external vendors when required. Security, CCTV & Access Control Configure and troubleshoot CCTV systems. Support biometric, door access, and attendance systems. Coordinate with contractors for security system installation and maintenance. Vendor & Contractor Coordination Liaise with vendors, contractors, and service providers. Conduct site visits to explain technical requirements. Obtain, review, and revise quotations for IT-related projects. Coordinate installation and maintenance of internet, CCTV, and telephone systems. System Maintenance & Remote Support Perform system and firmware upgrades for servers, computers, printers, networking devices, and smart devices. Ensure IT systems remain secure, stable, and up to date. Provide remote support using tools such as TeamViewer and AnyDesk. Support multiple locations remotely and on-site as required. Administration & Documentation Track and consolidate monthly IT-related expenses. Maintain accurate documentation for IT systems, vendors, and configurations. Support ad-hoc IT projects and initiatives as assigned. Desired Candidate Profile Qualifications & Experience Education Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Experience Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or IT Generalist. Experience supporting multi-location environments, including residential setups, is highly preferred. Technical Skills Strong IT generalist knowledge across infrastructure, networking, and end-user support. Networking, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless access points. Server administration and virtualization (Hyper-V). Email hosting, domain management, web hosting, DNS, and basic HTML. CCTV, access control, and attendance systems. Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and multi-brand hardware support. Soft Skills & Competencies Highly adaptable with strong problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Work Conditions & Additional Requirements Based in Dubai with frequent travel between locations. Valid UAE driving license required. On-call availability outside standard working hours. Ability to lift and move IT equipment. Willingness to work on-site, remotely, and in office environments as required.
