Senior Consultant/Assistant Manager

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities You will work closely with clients across the Saudi market to translate business strategies into robust data engineering solutions, while contributing to client engagements, proposals, and wider practice growth in the region. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end data engineering solutions across multiple client engagements. Architect, build, and optimize scalable data platforms and data pipelines for analytics, BI, and AI use cases. Design and implement modern data architectures, including medallion and lakehouse patterns, across cloud and on-premise environments. Develop robust data models and pipelines ensuring performance, reliability, security, and governance. Collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, and analytics teams to enable AI-driven solutions. Support data modernization and migration initiatives, including legacy-to-cloud transitions. Prepare and deliver high-quality client materials including presentations, solution designs, and executive-level narratives. Contribute to proposal development, solution shaping, estimations, and commercial discussions. Coach and mentor junior team members and contribute to EY knowledge assets. Skills and Attributes for Success Strong hands-on experience in SQL and Python for data engineering use cases. Proven expertise in data modeling, ETL/ELT development, and pipeline orchestration. Solid understanding of data platforms and modern engineering technologies. Deep knowledge of data architectures, including batch and streaming pipelines. Experience across cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, and/or GCP) and on-premise technologies. Strong understanding of data governance, quality, and security principles. Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value. Strong experience preparing client presentations, business cases, and Data & AI proposals. Good business and commercial acumen with consulting delivery experience.
