General Manager Technology

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Define, own, and execute the overall technology strategy and multi-year roadmap aligned to business goals, market opportunities, and client needs. Translate business strategy into scalable, secure, and future-ready technology architectures, platforms, and delivery models. Continuously assess emerging Web3, blockchain, cloud, fintech and digital technologies, recommending strategic investments and adoption priorities. Provide executive oversight for software development, application platforms, infrastructure, cloud services, and architecture across all projects and solutions. Ensure delivery teams follow robust engineering practices, architecture standards, and quality benchmarks across Web3 and traditional enterprise solutions. Balance project based delivery with the development of reusable components, accelerators, and frameworks to improve efficiency and time-to-market. Establish and enforce technology governance frameworks, including architecture review, security standards, data protection, and compliance controls. Ensure strong cybersecurity posture, particularly for blockchain-based solutions, smart contracts, digital assets, and decentralized platforms. Identify, assess, and mitigate technology, delivery, and operational risks, ensuring business continuity and resilience. Act as a strategic partner to the CEO, executive leadership, and commercial teams, ensuring technology decisions directly support growth, revenue, and client outcomes. Collaborate with sales, business development, and product teams to support solution design, client engagements, proposals, and technical credibility. Represent technology leadership in client-facing discussions, strategic partnerships, and ecosystem engagements. Own the technology budget, including investment planning, cost optimization, and ROI justification. Lead relationships with technology vendors, cloud providers, partners, and external service providers, ensuring value, performance, and risk management. Make informed build-vs-buy decisions to balance speed, cost, and strategic control. Drive a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement, especially in Web3, automation, DevOps, and AI enabled development practices. Champion automation, CI/CD, cloud-native approaches, and modern delivery methodologies to improve productivity and quality. Ensure the organization remains technology-relevant and future-oriented, not dependent on legacy practices. Lead, mentor, and develop multi-disciplinary technology teams, including engineering, architecture, infrastructure, security, and delivery leaders. Build a strong leadership pipeline and technical depth, balancing senior expertise with emerging talent. Establish clear KPIs, performance standards, and development pathways across technology functions. Demonstrated experience leading multi disciplinary technology teams in project or services based environments. Exposure to Web3, blockchain, decentralized applications, or emerging digital technologies is strongly preferred.
