Performance & Observability Engineer (Dynatrace)

Automation & Synthetic Monitoring (Core of the business) Design: Identify critical user journeys (Golden Paths) and translate them into functional test scenarios. Implementation: Create and configure synthetic monitors (Browser & HTTP) within Dynatrace . Advanced Scripting: Develop robust JavaScript scripts to handle complex cases: multi-factor authentication (MFA), cookie manipulation, DOM management and dynamic data validation. 2. Integration into the DevOps Culture Shift-Left Testing: Integrate the triggering of synthetic tests directly into our CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins or Azure DevOps) to validate releases in pre-production environments. SRE Collaboration: Working hand in hand with Ops/SRE teams to refine alerts and reduce "noise" (false alerts). 3. Maintenance and Continuous Improvement Ensure the ongoing maintenance of scripts in response to changes in the application's user interface (UI). Optimize test execution times and the relevance of the metrics reported. Desired Candidate Profile Dynatrace mastery: Solid experience on the em>Synthetic Monitoring/em> module (via interface and API). Development / Scripting: Excellent command of JavaScript (essential for advanced scenarios). Web & API Culture: Good understanding of web architecture (HTML/CSS, DOM readers, HTTP/REST requests). Automation & CI/CD: Knowledge of version control tools (Git) and continuous integration. QA methodology: Mastery of testing principles (functional, non-functional, non-regression). Additional assets: Experience with API testing tools (Postman) or other automation frameworks (Tosca, Playwright, Selenium). Pedagogy & Communication: Ability to explain complex technical issues (performance, availability) to business or product stakeholders. Proactivity: Taking the initiative to expand test coverage and anticipate failures. Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in a similar position in Test Automation or Application Monitoring (APM).
