Trust & Safety Investigator
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Responsibilities Monitor and analyze transactions and activities to identify potential fraud, money laundering, or other criminal activities utilize data analysis, statistical modeling, and fraud detection tools to identify suspicious patterns, trends, and anomalies in financial transactions. Investigate suspicious activities and prepare detailed reports of findings. Collaborate with other teams to implement fraud prevention measures and improve overall security. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in fraud prevention techniques and technologies. Provide support and guidance to other team members as needed. Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays. Desired Candidate Profile You will be crucial in monitoring and investigating suspicious transactions and activities to help protect the company and customers from financial losses and reputational damage. This is from both Merchant or Customer side. Drawing on your proficiency in uncovering harmful activities through in-depth investigations and clear reports, you will be responsible for proactively reaching out to customers and merchants to confirm crucial details and ensure smooth transactions to create unique experiences only Tamara can provide. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience Knowledge or Excel, SQL and Python is preferred 1 to 3 years of experience in fraud prevention or investigation on either Consumer or Merchant side.
