Accountant - Interior Fitout/Construction

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Manage accounts payable and receivable specifically for subcontractors, suppliers, and clients within the fitout and construction sector. Process and reconcile project-specific invoices, purchase orders, and expense claims, ensuring accuracy against contract terms and budgets. Prepare detailed monthly financial reports, including variance analysis against project budgets and forecasts for construction projects. Assist in the preparation of project costing, budget control, and cash flow management for multiple interior fitout projects simultaneously. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) is highly preferred. Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in the interior fitout or construction industry. Proficiency in accounting software commonly used in construction (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, specialized ERP systems).
