Construction Manager (Landscaping)

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Role Purpose:- Oversee daily construction site operations, including supervision of the workforce, monitoring subcontractors, inspecting materials, and ensuring quality control. Set project benchmarks, manage budgets, and track progress to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. Plan, coordinate, and supervise all landscape activities within designated project areas, ensuring efficient utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment. Lead and guide site teams in close coordination with the Project Manager, ensuring resources are effectively mobilized and work progresses as per project timelines. Inspect ongoing work to ensure compliance with QA/QC standards, project specifications, and industry codes, providing technical solutions to resolve any issues. Advise the Project Manager on material and tool requirements to align with project schedules and workloads. Monitor project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and collaborate with the Project Manager to allocate resources and adjust work plans to meet project targets. Review daily and weekly reports from engineers, supervisors, and foremen, recommending corrective actions for any delays or budget overruns. Coordinate with procurement, subcontractors, and suppliers to arrange additional resources as per project needs. Communicate with government authorities to obtain NOCs, arrange inspections, and ensure compliance with legal and environmental requirements. Liaise with clients and consultants to address missing information, additional requests, and approvals required to complete the project. Identify potential risks, implement mitigation measures, and proactively resolve emerging issues. Provide weekly and monthly project progress reports to the Project Manager, clients, and consultants. Ensure all activities comply with HSE policies, environmental regulations, and company procedures Desired Candidate Profile Graduate of Civil Engineering bachelor degree. 10+ years significant Industrial, commercial, residential construction experience, with at least 5 years as Construction Manager with exposure to the GCC area. Working knowledge of civil and structural codes and other associated codes used in the project, excellent technical background and skills in industrial environment.
