CONTAINER INSPECTOR - IICL CERTIFIED

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of shipping containers, identifying damage, defects, and non-compliance with industry standards using IICL guidelines. Evaluate container structural integrity, including walls, floors, roofs, and doors, to ensure seaworthiness and cargo-worthiness, and assess the extent of damage. Verify container cleanliness and suitability for specific cargo types, checking for contaminants, odors, or residues that could compromise cargo. Prepare detailed inspection reports, accurately documenting findings with photographs and descriptions, adhering to IICL protocols and company standards. Desired Candidate Profile Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundational level of education. Hold a valid IICL (Institute of International Container Lessors) certification, showcasing specialized expertise in container inspection. Have at least 2-3 years of experience in container inspection or a related field, providing practical industry knowledge. Prior experience in the shipping or logistics industry is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with container operations.
