Electrical Engineer
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Supervise and manage all electrical works at site. Plan, execute, inspect, and monitor electrical installation and maintenance activities. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults in power distribution systems. Ensure proper operation and maintenance of MDB, SMDB, DB panels, MCC panels, and associated equipment. Monitor and maintain SMATV, CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, and other ELV systems. Review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications before execution. Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution. Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Prepare technical reports, work schedules, and maintenance records. Supervise technicians and ensure work is completed according to project requirements and timelines. Identify and implement corrective and preventive maintenance measures. Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities. Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and company procedures. Manage material requirements and verify quantities for electrical works. Attend emergency breakdowns and provide technical solutions to minimize downtime. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. 5–7 years of relevant experience in electrical and MEP maintenance/projects. Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution systems, including MDB, SMDB, DB panels, cabling, and switchgear. Experience with SMATV, CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, and other ELV systems. Ability to troubleshoot electrical and control system faults independently. Good understanding of testing, commissioning, and preventive maintenance procedures. Proficient in reading electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications. Strong leadership and site supervision skills with the ability to manage technicians and subcontractors. Knowledge of UAE electrical standards, safety regulations, and best practices. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and reporting skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple site activities efficiently. UAE driving license will be an added advantage. Immediate joiners will be preferred.
