Electrical Supervisor – Type C (Jointing)

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Hands-on experience in 0.4kV / 6.6kV / 11kV / 33kV power and pilot cable jointing & termination works. Strong knowledge of advanced jointing techniques including Cold Shrink, Elastimould, and Heat Shrink joints and terminations. Experience in feeder pillar installation and related electrical works. Supervise jointing activities at site to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, project specifications, and timelines. Ensure all works are executed according to DEWA technical standards, specifications, KPIs, and project targets. Identify and report site hazards, NODs, and safety concerns proactively. Prepare and maintain all site documentation including toolbox talks, checklists, permits, certificates, and inspection records. Study CAR, ring diagrams, and NOC drawings for execution and coordination of works. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and maintain records in SAP. Issue jointing certificates and related documentation to contractors and ensure timely closure of job orders in SAP. Monitor material reconciliation, manpower allocation, vehicle timesheets, and invoice certification submitted by contractors. Coordinate issuance, return, inspection, and reconciliation of materials from DEWA stores. Ensure adherence to DEWA OH&S Management System Manual and safety regulations at all times. Maintain confidentiality of all official and project-related information during and after employment. Perform additional duties assigned by the reporting manager. Desired Candidate Profile Should have experience in HV / LV equipment related / Cable Laying works. Underground utilities, infrastructure works, etc. Good communication and organizational skills. Basic computer knowledge. UAE Driving License is mandatory. Ability to work independently and manage site activities efficiently. Strong commitment to safety, quality, and timely project completion.
