Finance Manager
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Develop and manage the financial planning and analysis process to ensure alignment with strategic business goals. Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Implement robust budgeting processes, guiding departments to understand their financial goals and constraints. Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between budgeted and actual financial performance and recommend corrective actions. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, maintaining integrity in all financial reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess financial implications of operational decisions and projects. Lead the financial forecasting process, utilizing historical data and market trends to predict future financial outcomes. Manage relationships with external auditors and financial institutions to facilitate audits and funding. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement through thorough financial analysis. Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is preferred. Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or CFA, showcasing advanced financial acumen. A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably within a relevant industry. Experience in financial modeling and forecasting, demonstrating a solid understanding of financial principles. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, with advanced Excel skills for data analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of interpreting complex financial data. Exceptional communication skills, able to translate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. Leadership qualities with a track record of managing and developing finance teams effectively. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy in all financial transactions. Fluency in English; additional languages may be an advantage, depending on the company's international reach.
