Fire AlaRM Technician

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and testing of fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with national safety standards and regulations. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in fire alarm systems, utilizing specialized tools and equipment to determine the root cause of malfunctions. Install and configure new fire alarm systems, including wiring, panel setup, and device placement to maximize safety and efficiency. Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, repairs, and installations, providing detailed reports for compliance and safety audits. Desired Candidate Profile High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education in electronics or fire safety preferred. Certification in fire alarm systems, such as NICET, is highly desirable to validate technical expertise. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in fire alarm installation, maintenance, or repair to ensure proficiency. Familiarity with local and national fire codes and standards to ensure compliance and safety.
