Firefighting Maintenance Technicians

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities CESCO is seeking an experienced Fire Fighting Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the inspection, testing, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and repair of fire protection systems across various facilities in Qatar. The ideal candidate will ensure all systems remain fully operational, compliant with applicable standards, and ready for emergency response at all times. Key Responsibilities Supervise the maintenance, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of fire protection systems. Manage maintenance activities for: Fire Pumps Sprinkler Systems Fire Hydrants Hose Reel Systems Fire Extinguishers FM-200 Suppression Systems NOVEC Suppression Systems Aerosol Fire Suppression Systems Fire Alarm Interfaces and Control Panels Fire Protection Piping Networks Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs. Lead and supervise technicians and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities. Conduct system inspections and performance testing in accordance with NFPA standards and client requirements. Investigate faults, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Prepare maintenance reports, inspection records, service documentation, and compliance reports. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders regarding maintenance schedules and system performance. Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, company procedures, and fire safety regulations. Monitor spare parts inventory and recommend procurement requirements when necessary. Support emergency breakdown response and critical system restoration activities. Desired Candidate Profile Requirements: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 5–8 years of experience in fire fighting system maintenance, including supervisory responsibilities. Strong hands-on experience with fire pumps, sprinkler systems, hydrants, hose reels, clean agent suppression systems, and fire alarm interfaces. Good knowledge of NFPA standards and fire protection system maintenance practices. Experience managing maintenance teams and coordinating field activities. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and system layouts. Strong troubleshooting, reporting, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Qualifications NFPA Certifications will be an added advantage. Previous GCC experience, preferably in Qatar.
