HSE Officer (UAE National) / Emiritisation

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are looking only for Emiratis / UAE Nationals for this role Location :- Abu Dhabi, Musaffah Industrial Area Brief about the Company :- Sigma Engineering Works (SEW), a company of Mazrui Energy is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Fabrication Team. Sigma Engineering Works is an engineering service company, offering fabrication, manufacturing, service & repair, and other services to the energy industry. Designation :- Health, Safety and Environment Officer Monitor workplace safety practices and ensure compliance with HSE policies and UAE regulations. Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits. Identify hazards and recommend corrective/preventive actions. Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE training sessions. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare reports. Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures. Maintain HSE records, permits, and documentation. Coordinate with internal teams to implement safety improvements. Support emergency response planning and drills. Requirements: Requirements: UAE National with Family Book Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field. 1–3 years of relevant HSE experience (fresh graduates with HSE certifications may also be considered). Knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and industrial safety standards. NEBOSH/IOSH certification is preferred. Good communication and reporting skills.
