Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Oversee the entire supply chain process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to customers. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and carriers to secure the best rates and services for logistics operations. Implement and monitor logistics strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to streamline inventory management and optimize stock levels. Analyze transportation trends and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions in the supply chain. Utilize logistics software and tools for tracking shipments, managing inventory, and generating reports. Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including customs and trade laws. Train and mentor logistics staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork. Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and ensure they meet performance standards. Prepare and present logistics performance metrics to senior management for informed decision-making. Desired Candidate Profile Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions. Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts and maintain supplier relationships. Proficiency in English is mandatory; additional languages like Spanish or Mandarin are advantageous.
