Mechanical Engineer Site Execution- Data Centres

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Coordinate day-to-day mechanical site execution activities for data center projects Supervise installation of HVAC systems, chilled water piping, ducting, and ventilation works Monitor installation of CRAH, CRAC, FAHU, AHU, and ventilation equipment Ensure mechanical works are executed as per approved shop drawings and specifications Review IFC drawings, coordination drawings, and technical submittals before execution Coordinate with electrical, ELV, civil, and architectural teams for interface management Plan and monitor manpower deployment and daily site activities Ensure compliance with project schedules and target milestones Conduct site inspections and monitor workmanship quality standards Coordinate material inspections, delivery schedules, and storage requirements Prepare daily progress reports and weekly execution updates Raise RFIs and technical clarifications related to site execution issues Ensure proper installation methodology and sequence of mechanical systems Monitor testing, flushing, pressure testing, and commissioning preparation activities Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspections and documentation requirements Ensure compliance with HSE standards and safe work practices on site Attend coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and client representatives Verify installed quantities and support preparation of progress billing records Identify site constraints and proactively resolve execution-related issues Support project close-out activities including as-built drawings and final documentation Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline 4–8 years of experience in mechanical site execution works Previous experience in Data Center, Mission Critical, or Industrial projects preferred Strong understanding of HVAC systems including chilled water and DX systems Experience in installation of CRAH, CRAC, FAHU, AHU, ventilation, and piping systems Good understanding of mechanical drawings, coordination drawings, and specifications Familiar with ducting, piping, insulation, supports, and equipment installation methodologies Able to supervise subcontractors, foremen, and site workforce effectively Knowledge of testing, flushing, pressure testing, and commissioning activities Strong understanding of project execution sequences and site coordination requirements Experience working in fast-track construction environments Familiar with international standards and data center construction practices Good communication and reporting skills Ability to coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal project teams Capable of resolving site execution and technical issues independently Knowledge of QA/QC inspection procedures and documentation requirements Strong awareness of HSE standards and safe work practices Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and basic project documentation Ability to work under pressure and meet strict project deadlines UAE/GCC project experience and immediate availability will be an advantage Employment Type Full Time Company Industry ConstructionCivil Engineering Department / Functional Area Engineering Keywords Mechanical Engineer - Data CenterMechanical Construction ManagerHVAC EngineerMechanical Systems EngineerConstruction Engineer Mechanical Get real-time job updates only on our App
