Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Position Summary The Multi-Property General Manager is responsible for providing strategic leadership, operational excellence, and commercial direction across The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert and any assigned luxury resort operations within the portfolio. This highly visible leadership role requires an accomplished luxury hospitality executive with a proven commercial background, exceptional owner relationship management skills, and a strong track record of driving revenue growth, market share, profitability, guest satisfaction, and associate engagement. The ideal candidate is an experienced luxury General Manager with extensive experience leading ultra-luxury resorts and a demonstrated ability to balance brand excellence with commercial performance. They will champion The Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards while fostering innovation, operational discipline, and a high-performance culture. Key Responsibilities Strategic & Commercial Leadership Develop and execute multi-property business strategies that drive sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and long-term asset value. Lead all commercial disciplines, including Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Distribution, Public Relations, and Digital Strategy. Identify market opportunities and implement initiatives that increase market share, RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, and total resort profitability. Partner closely with regional and corporate teams to align business goals with Marriott International and Ritz-Carlton brand strategies. Evaluate competitive positioning and implement innovative luxury guest experiences that differentiate the resorts within the market. Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and financial performance reviews. Operational Excellence Ensure flawless execution of Ritz-Carlton service standards and luxury guest experiences across all properties. Drive operational efficiency while maintaining uncompromising quality standards. Oversee Rooms, Food & Beverage, Wellness, Recreation, Finance, Engineering, and all support functions. Ensure compliance with Marriott operating standards, legal requirements, safety protocols, and risk management practices. Maintain exceptional guest satisfaction scores and drive continuous improvement in service delivery. Leadership & Talent Development Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing executive leadership teams. Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, inclusion, and excellence. Develop succession plans and leadership pipelines across the portfolio. Champion Marriott's people-first culture and employee engagement initiatives. Lead organizational transformation and change management efforts when required. Owner & Stakeholder Relations Serve as the primary liaison between ownership, Marriott International, and key stakeholders. Develop trusted and collaborative relationships with owners, investors, local authorities, and business partners. Present business performance updates, strategic plans, and investment recommendations. Ensure ownership objectives are achieved while maintaining brand integrity. Luxury Guest Experience Act as the ambassador of The Ritz-Carlton culture and service philosophy. Cultivate relationships with high-net-worth guests, VIPs, celebrities, luxury travel advisors, and key accounts. Ensure exceptional personalized service delivery across all guest touchpoints. Drive innovation in luxury experiences, wellness offerings, destination programming, and exclusive guest journeys. Candidate Profile Experience Minimum 5+ years of progressive hospitality leadership experience. Proven success as a General Manager within internationally recognized luxury hospitality brands. Previous experience managing luxury resorts, remote destinations, or high-end leisure properties. Strong multi-property leadership experience preferred. Demonstrated commercial leadership with a proven record of driving revenue growth and profitability. Experience managing owner relationships and complex stakeholder environments. Luxury resort experience is essential.
