Project Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day execution of construction projects from mobilization through handover. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery. Monitor project schedules, budgets, and progress, ensuring adherence to approved timelines and cost targets. Review construction drawings, technical specifications, residential and retail drawings, material submittals, and method statements. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and HSE safety regulations. Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns. Track contractor performance and ensure contractual obligations are met. Coordinate inspections, testing, authority approvals, and project handover documentation. Prepare progress reports, project updates, and management presentations. Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence, RTA, DEWA, and other relevant authority requirements. Support the Project Manager in project planning, procurement coordination, and contract administration. Desired Candidate Profile Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is mandatory. Experience Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer with a leading real estate developer in Dubai. Proven experience managing high-rise residential, commercial properties, shopping mall, villa complexes, or mixed-use developments. Strong understanding of the UAE construction industry, local regulations, and authority approval processes.
