Project Manager (WWTP)

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We, at Emarat Aloula is seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager – Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) to lead and manage wastewater and utility infrastructure projects across the UAE. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in delivering water and wastewater treatment projects, particularly with TAQA Water Solutions Services (formerly SWS) or similar utility authorities/clients. Key Responsibilities Lead the overall execution and delivery of WWTP and utility infrastructure projects Manage project planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and execution strategies Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual obligations, HSE standards, and quality requirements Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where necessary Oversee procurement, engineering, construction, testing, and commissioning activities Manage project risks, variations, claims, and commercial matters Conduct regular meetings with project teams and clients to ensure smooth project delivery Ensure timely submission of project reports, progress updates, and documentation Lead and mentor project teams to achieve operational and project objectives Maintain strong coordination with authorities and utility stakeholders Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Min. 15 years of overall experience in construction and infrastructure projects Min. 5 years of relevant experience in water and/or wastewater treatment projects as a: Project Manager (PM), or Construction Manager (CM) Proven experience executing projects for TAQA Water Solutions Services (formerly SWS) is highly preferred Strong background in utility, infrastructure, water treatment, or wastewater treatment projects within UAE/GCC Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and project management capabilities Excellent knowledge of EPC project execution and construction methodologies Strong commercial, contractual, and risk management understanding Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders effectively Proficiency in project management and reporting tools Preferred Attributes PMP Certification is an advantage Familiarity with UAE authority and utility standards Experience in large-scale infrastructure and utility projects UAE Driving License preferred Immediate or short notice availability is an advantage Employment Type Full Time Company Industry ConstructionCivil Engineering Department / Functional Area Site EngineeringProjects Keywords Project DirectorProject ManagerWaste Water TreatmentWWTPInfrastructure ProjectsUtility ProjectsPMPEPC Projects Get real-time job updates only on our App
