QA/QC INSPECTOR (CIVIL/MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL)
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Review, communicate and implement the Project Quality Plan on site. Develop checklists and inspection test plans for site works. Review work procedures and material technical specifications to ensure their compliance with the contract's quality requirements and the implemented quality system. Raise Non Conformance Reports (NCRs), when necessary, and communicate quality noncompliance issues to the Project Manager. Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to stop further recurrence. Ensure all NCRs are adequately monitored and concerns dealt with effectively and in a timely fashion. Manage the Site QA/QC Teams. Coordinate with material testing laboratory for the material testing in accordance to the project requirements Participate in regular site meetings with the Client and the Client's Representative. Define applicable Client's requirements to Suppliers and Subcontractors. Ensure Suppliers and Subcontractors meet the project specified quality requirements. Manage the quality inspection process of work and materials on site. Ensure quality records are correctly maintained on site. Prepare and follow up on quality related snags during hand over. Implement the Company Quality Management System. Provide assistance to external agency representatives and coordinate with them during external audits, surveillance visits and re-certification audits. Implement the Company established quality programs to achieve the set quality objectives and targets. Manage and facilitate the follow up process on site related actions highlighted in management review meetings. Identify training needs and arrange appropriate training on site for various site staff Desired Candidate Profile Diploma with 5-7 years of experience in the building construction industry. Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position in a reputable construction company. Proficient in spoken and written English language. Computer skills should include competency in MS Word and Excel, knowledge of MS Access is an advantage. A valid UAE driving license.
