Senior Accountant

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Manage daily accounting entries, ledgers, reconciliations, and month-end closing. Handle accounts receivable and payable with proper follow-up and ageing control. Prepare customer outstanding reports and coordinate with sales team for collections. Reconcile supplier accounts, customer accounts, bank accounts, petty cash, and intercompany balances. Prepare VAT workings and support VAT filing. Monitor inventory-related accounting, landed cost, cost of goods sold, and stock valuation. Prepare monthly MIS reports including sales, gross profit, collections, expenses, and cash flow. Verify purchase invoices, supplier payments, debit notes, credit notes, and expense claims. Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, customers, and internal departments. Maintain proper documentation and accounting discipline. Support management in cost control, payment planning, and financial decision-making. Desired Candidate Profile Minimum 5–8 years accounting experience. At least 2–3 years UAE experience is strongly preferred. Experience in trading, distribution, inventory, wholesale, spare parts, building materials, industrial products, or hydraulic products will be an advantage. Strong knowledge of VAT, bank reconciliation, receivables, payables, and inventory accounting. Experience with Odoo ERP is highly preferred. Required Skills Strong Excel skills.
