Senior Accountant

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Handle general ledger accounting, reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and closing activities. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies. Prepare and review VAT returns and support tax compliance requirements. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support audit requirements. Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. Review bank reconciliations and intercompany transactions. Support management with financial reports, MIS, and variance analysis. Maintain proper documentation and internal controls. Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes. Desired Candidate Profile Requirements CA Final qualified without exemptions. Minimum 3–4 years of post-qualification experience in accounting or finance. Experience from home country or UAE/local market will be accepted. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation. UAE VAT knowledge will be an advantage. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. High attention to detail and accuracy.
