Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Lead the preparation and management of detailed cost estimates for complex construction projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. Conduct thorough site visits and analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documents to gather information for cost estimation. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand project scopes and timelines, facilitating smooth communication and project execution. Utilize advanced estimating software and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the estimation process. Review and analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with project budgets. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project profitability and minimize unforeseen costs. Prepare and present comprehensive cost reports and estimates to senior management and clients, showcasing transparency and professionalism. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is essential for a solid foundation in estimating principles. A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in estimating within the construction industry, demonstrating a strong track record of successful project estimations. Professional certifications such as Certified Estimating Professional (CEP) or Associate Estimating Professional (AEP) are highly desirable. Experience in commercial, industrial, or civil construction projects is critical to align with our diverse portfolio of work. Proficiency in construction estimating software like Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar tools is required to streamline the estimation process. Fluency in English is mandatory; additional language skills are a plus for effective communication with diverse stakeholders. Strong analytical and mathematical skills are necessary for accurate cost calculations and financial assessments.
