Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong Facilities Management (FM) background to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing mechanical systems, ensuring operational efficiency, and supporting maintenance activities across multiple facilities. The responsibilities will include but not limited to: Oversee operation and maintenance of mechanical systems including HVAC, chilled water systems, pumps, and plumbing Manage planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities across facilities Ensure compliance with HSE standards, local regulations, and company policies Supervise and coordinate with technicians, supervisors, and subcontractors Monitor system performance and implement improvements for efficiency and cost optimization Handle breakdown analysis, root cause identification, and corrective actions Support AMC management, vendor coordination, and contract compliance Prepare technical reports, maintenance reports, and performance KPIs Participate in client meetings and ensure service delivery as per SLA/KPI requirements Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 5–10 years of experience, with strong UAE FM experience In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, MEP maintenance, and BMS operations Experience in managing large commercial/residential/retail portfolios Familiarity with FM standards, CAFM systems, and compliance requirements Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills UAE Driving Licence (preferred) Employment Type Full Time Company Industry Facilities Management Department / Functional Area Engineering Keywords Facilities ManagementHard ServicesMEP MaintenancePPMPlanned Preventive MaintenanceAsset ManagementService Level AgreementsFM OperationsHSE ComplianceVendor ManagementBreakdown MaintenanceBuilding Management SystemBMS Get real-time job updates only on our App
