Senior Structural Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Lead the design and analysis of complex structural systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop innovative and efficient structural solutions. Conduct detailed site inspections and assessments to ensure structural integrity and adherence to design specifications. Utilize advanced software tools for modeling and simulation to predict structural behavior under various conditions. Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and documentation for project submissions and approvals. Oversee and mentor junior engineers and interns, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth. Address and resolve on-site challenges, providing technical support during construction phases. Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring that deliverables are met without compromising quality. Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and technologies to maintain a competitive edge in structural engineering. Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on structural feasibility and safety. Desired Candidate Profile Ability to communicate effectively in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus. Proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget, demonstrating strong project management skills. Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution; a Master's degree is preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) license or Chartered Engineer status is highly desirable. Experience with advanced modeling software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or Revit is essential. Strong understanding of local and international building codes and regulations applicable to structural design. Strong leadership qualities, capable of guiding teams and fostering collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
