Senior Structural Inspector

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Structural Inspector to join our growing Site Supervision team. The successful candidate will lead structural inspection activities across luxury residential and mixed-use developments, ensuring all structural works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. The role requires strong coordination with contractors, consultants, design teams, and regulatory authorities, including Dubai Municipality (DM) and Dubai Development Authority (DDA). The ideal candidate should possess extensive site supervision experience and the ability to proactively identify, assess, and resolve construction-related challenges while maintaining project quality and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct and lead structural inspections for all construction activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable codes and standards. Monitor ongoing structural works, including reinforcement, concrete works, formwork, structural steel, and related activities. Review and verify inspection requests, material approvals, and site documentation prior to execution. Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely rectification of non-conforming works. Liaise with Dubai Municipality (DM), Dubai Development Authority (DDA), and other relevant authorities during site inspections and approval processes. Work closely with the Design Team to resolve technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions for site-related challenges. Ensure compliance with project quality plans, inspection test plans (ITPs), and health and safety requirements. Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions from a site execution perspective. Prepare inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), observations, and recommendations for corrective actions. Monitor construction progress and provide technical input to ensure structural integrity and workmanship standards are maintained. Support project stakeholders in achieving project milestones while ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory requirements. Attend coordination meetings with contractors, consultants, and project management teams to address technical and construction-related issues. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. 7–10 years of experience in structural inspection, site supervision, or construction quality control. Proven experience in luxury residential, high-rise, mixed-use, or large-scale construction projects. Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, structural steel, and construction methodologies. Hands-on experience dealing with DM, DDA, and other relevant authority inspections and approvals. Thorough understanding of local regulations, construction standards, and international engineering codes. Ability to identify site issues and collaborate with design and construction teams to develop effective engineering solutions. Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in preparing technical reports, inspection records, and quality documentation. Strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
