Shipping Executive - Fashion Retail

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities 1. Import Operations Receive import booking details from suppliers/customers. Coordinate with freight forwarders and provide approved agent details. Follow up on shipment schedules, shipping documents, and cargo status. Ensure timely coordination for customs clearance and delivery. 2. Export Operations Receive export booking requests from the sales team. Coordinate and ensure smooth shipment movement from the UAE to GCC countries. Ensure full compliance with GCC country-specific regulations, documentation, and shipping requirements. Coordinate with transporters, clearing agents, and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery. Monitor export shipment status and provide timely updates to relevant teams. 3. Documentation & Coordination Verify and maintain shipping documents including: Commercial Invoice Packing List Bill of Lading / Airway Bill Certificate of Origin Customs documents Maintain accurate shipment records and reports. Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and logistics partners for smooth operations. Prepare and share shipment summaries and reports with the team leader and management on weekly and monthly basis. Desired Candidate Profile Strong knowledge of UAE and GCC import/export regulations and shipping requirements. Solid understanding of customs procedures and shipping documentation. Good communication and coordination skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Ability to manage multiple shipments, priorities, and tight deadlines efficiently. Experience Required 2 to 4 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain operations within the UAE. Must have handled both import and export shipments. Preference for candidates from a fashion retail background.
