Site Engineer – ELV Systems

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are seeking an experienced Associate Engineer (Senior Field Installation & Maintenance Technician) to lead and execute field installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities for CCTV systems, networking infrastructure, structured cabling, industrial racks, and field enclosures. The role requires extensive travel to industrial, offshore, onshore, and remote project locations and involves supervising technicians to ensure safe, high-quality project execution. Desired Candidate Profile Installation & Field Execution Lead installation teams for CCTV systems, networking equipment, structured cabling, industrial racks, and field enclosures. Supervise CAT6A cable laying, conduit routing, cable dressing, and termination activities. Perform drilling, coring, anchoring, and mounting of cameras, brackets, racks, and heavy equipment. Install and secure explosion-proof (Ex/ATEX-rated) enclosures, racks, glands, and accessories. Coordinate lifting, positioning, and installation of heavy equipment and fabricated structures. Ensure proper use of lock pins, slings, clamps, safety nets, and dropped-object prevention systems. Guide technicians during installation, testing, and troubleshooting activities. Maintenance & Troubleshooting Troubleshoot CCTV systems, PoE devices, networking equipment, power distribution systems, and related hardware. Support dismantling, relocation, and reinstallation of field equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance inspections, tightening checks, corrosion assessments, and physical verification activities. Ensure proper grounding, bonding, and cable management practices. Coordination & Documentation Coordinate with engineers, HSE personnel, electricians, rigging teams, and client representatives. Verify installation quality against drawings, specifications, and project standards. Assist with preparation of installation reports, maintenance records, and red-mark drawings. Manage site tools, materials, and consumables. Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with HSE policies, Permit-to-Work systems, and working-at-height procedures. Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings when required. Monitor safe operation of power tools, lifting equipment, and handling of heavy materials. Qualifications & Experience Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related discipline. 5–8 years of experience in CCTV, networking, telecom, industrial installations, or maintenance projects. Strong hands-on experience in structured cabling, industrial installations, and troubleshooting. Experience leading technicians or small field teams. Knowledge of industrial and hazardous-area installation practices.
