Site Engineer – Finishing Works

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Supervise and monitor all finishing works including: Plastering, painting, tiling False ceiling, gypsum works Joinery, carpentry, aluminum/glazing works Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and standards. Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with design and quality requirements. Coordinate with project managers, architects, and consultants for smooth execution. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules. Ensure proper sequencing of finishing activities. Coordinate with MEP teams to avoid clashes during finishing. Ensure high-quality finishes and adherence to project specifications. Conduct inspections and implement corrective actions for defects. Maintain records of quality checks and approvals. Ensure mock-ups and samples are approved before execution. Calculate material requirements for finishing works. Monitor material usage and minimize wastage. Ensure timely procurement and availability of materials at site. Verify material quality upon delivery. Ensure adherence to all safety protocols on-site. Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks. Identify risks and implement preventive measures. Maintain daily site reports and progress updates. Track work progress against project timelines. Prepare snag lists and ensure timely closure. Support handover process and final inspections. Desired Candidate Profile 3 to 5 years of experience is required in finishing works. GCC/UAE Experience is mandatory. High rise residential building projects experience is preferred. B.Tech/B.E in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
