Sr. QC Inspector - Civil - Walkin Chennai

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Ensure strict adherence to civil engineering drawings, specifications, and relevant codes (e.g., IS, BS, ACI) throughout project execution. Conduct thorough inspections of ongoing civil works, including formwork, reinforcement, concrete pouring, and structural steel erection, identifying deviations from quality standards. Manage and coordinate testing of construction materials such as concrete, steel, aggregates, and soil, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards. Prepare and maintain comprehensive inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and daily progress logs, documenting all findings and corrective actions. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution. Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in civil quality control inspection, preferably in large-scale infrastructure or building projects. Possession of relevant certifications such as CSWIP, ASNT Level II (for NDT if applicable), or equivalent recognized quality certifications. Proven experience working in EPC or construction environments, demonstrating a strong understanding of project lifecycles. Eligibility Criteria ✔ Experience in Pipeline / Oil & Gas / EPC / Flowline / Wellhead / Brownfield / Upstream / Onshore ✔ Gulf / ADNOC experience preferred ✔ Clean-shaven policy applicable ❌ Candidates with Metro / Building / Road Infrastructure experience are not eligible Age Criteria: Maximum age limit is 49 years For managerial positions, this may be extended up to 50 years if the candidate has significant Gulf experience Managerial and SR.
