Sr. QC Inspector - E&I - Walkin Chennai

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Lead and execute comprehensive quality control inspections for Electrical and Instrumentation systems, ensuring adherence to project specifications and international standards. Develop and implement detailed inspection and test plans (ITPs) for E&I equipment and activities, covering pre-commissioning, commissioning, and operational phases. Supervise and guide junior QC inspectors and technicians, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team. Review and approve vendor documentation, material certifications, and test reports for E&I components, verifying compliance with project requirements. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, demonstrating a strong theoretical foundation. Certified QA/QC Engineer or Inspector, such as ASNT Level II/III, PCN, or equivalent, validating specialized inspection skills. Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in Quality Control for Electrical & Instrumentation within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Power Generation industries. Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications relevant to E&I systems. Eligibility Criteria ✔ Experience in Pipeline / Oil & Gas / EPC / Flowline / Wellhead / Brownfield / Upstream / Onshore ✔ Gulf / ADNOC experience preferred ✔ Clean-shaven policy applicable ❌ Candidates with Metro / Building / Road Infrastructure experience are not eligible Age Criteria: Maximum age limit is 49 years For managerial positions, this may be extended up to 50 years if the candidate has significant Gulf experience Managerial and SR.
