Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Job Summary The Storekeeper – Maintenance is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, inventory control, issuance, and documentation of maintenance materials, spare parts, tools, consumables, and equipment. The role ensures that maintenance teams have timely access to the required materials while maintaining accurate inventory records, minimizing stock shortages, and complying with company policies, safety standards, and inventory control procedures. Duties & Responsibilities : Receive, inspect, and verify incoming maintenance materials, spare parts, tools, equipment, and consumables against purchase orders and delivery notes. Ensure all received items are free from damage and meet company specifications. Arrange and store materials systematically for easy identification and retrieval. Maintain accurate inventory records using the company's ERP, CMMS, or inventory management system. Issue materials, spare parts, and tools to maintenance personnel based on approved material requisitions. Monitor stock levels and maintain minimum and maximum inventory levels. Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and annual stock counts and inventory audits. Ensure proper storage of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, civil, and general maintenance materials. Monitor shelf life and expiry dates of applicable consumables. Maintain accurate records of goods received, issued, transferred, and returned. Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Issue Vouchers (MIV), stock transfer documents, and inventory reports. Coordinate with the Procurement Department regarding material shortages, pending deliveries, and urgent purchase requirements. Support maintenance supervisors in planning material requirements for preventive and corrective maintenance. Desired Candidate Profile Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in Facilities Management, Maintenance, MEP, Engineering, Construction, or Industrial Services. Experience handling maintenance spare parts, tools, consumables, and technical inventory. Familiarity with ERP, CMMS, or inventory management systems. High School Diploma or equivalent. Diploma or Certificate in Storekeeping, Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
