Taxation and Statutory Compliance Manager - Abu Dhbai

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Experienced Taxation & Compliance Manager to oversee all tax-related matters and statutory compliance requirements for our UAE operations. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with UAE Corporate Tax, VAT regulations, transfer pricing requirements, regulatory filings, and corporate governance standards while minimizing tax risks and supporting business growth. Desired Candidate Profile Tax Management Manage and ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax regulations and filing requirements. Oversee VAT compliance, including registration, return filing, reconciliations, and audits. Review and monitor tax calculations, provisions, and disclosures in financial statements. Ensure timely submission of tax returns and payments to relevant authorities. Stay updated on changes in UAE tax laws and assess their impact on business operations. Provide tax advisory support to management on business transactions, contracts, and restructuring activities. Coordinate with external tax consultants, auditors, and regulatory authorities. Compliance & Regulatory Affairs Ensure compliance with UAE commercial, labor, and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls. Monitor statutory filing requirements and maintain compliance calendars. Manage corporate governance and regulatory reporting obligations. Conduct periodic compliance reviews and risk assessments. Liaise with government authorities and external stakeholders on compliance matters. Audit & Risk Management Lead tax audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews. Identify tax and compliance risks and recommend mitigation measures. Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations. Ensure proper documentation and record retention in line with regulatory requirements. Financial & Business Support Partner with Finance, HR, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure compliance across business functions. Review contracts and agreements from a tax and compliance perspective. Support budgeting and forecasting related to tax liabilities. Prepare management reports and compliance dashboards. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Commerce, or a related field. Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA, CTA, or equivalent preferred. 8–12 years of experience in taxation, compliance, or finance roles. Minimum 4–5 years of UAE taxation and regulatory compliance experience. Strong knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, Transfer Pricing, and ESR requirements. Experience managing tax audits and dealing with UAE regulatory authorities. Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
