Team Leader - Warehouse

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Responsible for leading and coordinating shift operations within the dark store, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment, stock accuracy, and adherence to SOPs. The role works under the guidance of the Operations Specialist to manage staff, allocate tasks, and maintain service standards across multiple shift rotations. Desired Candidate Profile ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead day-to-day activities during the assigned shift, including receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch operations. Allocate tasks to shift staff based on daily order volumes and operational priorities. Monitor team performance and quality during the shift to ensure SLA adherence. Ensure proper implementation of SOPs related to stock handling, order processing, and dispatch. Conduct basic stock checks and report discrepancies to the Operations Specialist. Train and guide team members on operational processes and best practices. Enforce safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards during operations. Coordinate with other shift leaders to ensure smooth handovers and operational continuity. Escalate operational issues to the Operations Specialist for timely resolution. Maintain shift-level reports on productivity, accuracy, and attendance. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Diploma or high school qualification. Knowledge of order processing and inventory handling processes. 2–3 years of experience in warehouse, retail, or e-commerce operations, with at least 1 year in a Team Leader or Senior Associate role. Ability to lead small teams and manage workloads in a shift-based environment. Good communication and coordination skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work in rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidates who are available to join immediately will be preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with GCC experience.
